Summer Tech Camp Adventure: Build Robots, Create Games, Have Fun!

Welcome to our Summer Tech Camp in Madrid, where young enthusiasts aged 5 to 16 can immerse themselves in robotics, video game development and creative technology projects. Our tech camp combines learning, creativity and fun in a real summer camp environment.

The camp takes place in Ciudad Universitaria, in the Moncloa district of Madrid, one of the greenest and most open university areas of the city. Participants enjoy robotics and programming workshops, but also sports, outdoor games and swimming pool time every day.

Robotics Workshops in Ciudad Universitaria

At our Summer Tech Camp in Madrid, participants join hands-on robotics workshops. During these sessions, they assemble and program robots using kits such as LEGO Mindstorms, micro:bit, Maqueen and other educational robotics tools.

These workshops help develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking and creativity. In addition, children learn how motors, sensors, mechanisms and programming work together to make a robot move, react and solve challenges.

Video Game Development

In addition to robotics, our Tech Camp with robotics and video games includes sessions on video game creation using free and educational programming tools. Participants design and develop their own games while exploring the basics of logic, interaction, characters and game mechanics.

This activity is especially motivating for children and teenagers because they can quickly see the results of their ideas on screen. It also helps them understand programming in a practical and creative way.

Summer Tech Camp with Pool, Sports and Outdoor Activities

This is not only a robotics workshop. It is part of a wider summer camp in Madrid with swimming pool, sports and creative activities. Families can choose the robotics workshop only, or combine it with the full camp day.

The main workshop usually takes place in the morning, while the rest of the day can include chess, sports, group games, comic art, crafts and swimming pool activities. This makes the experience more balanced: children learn technology, but they also move, play outdoors and enjoy summer with other participants.

Location: Ciudad Universitaria, Moncloa District

Our Summer Tech Camp with robotics and video games is located in Ciudad Universitaria, in the Moncloa district of Madrid. The camp uses university residence facilities such as CMU Loyola and nearby campuses, with sports courts, green areas, activity rooms and swimming pool facilities.

Ciudad Universitaria is a very convenient area for families looking for a day camp in Madrid. It is well connected by public transport and offers large outdoor spaces that are ideal for summer activities.

Swimming Pool Every Day

One of the great advantages of this summer tech camp is that participants can also enjoy the swimming pool. Depending on the chosen schedule, children can combine robotics and programming with daily swimming pool time, usually before lunch and, in full-day options, also later in the afternoon.

The pool is supervised by lifeguards and camp monitors. For many children, this combination of technology in the morning and pool time afterwards is what makes the camp especially enjoyable.

Flexible Scheduling and Additional Activities

Understanding the diverse needs of families, our Tech Camp offers flexible scheduling options. The core robotics workshop runs approximately from 10:00 to 12:15. However, the wider camp operates from 7:30 to 17:00.

As a result, participants can attend only the robotics workshop or stay for a longer day with sports, chess, swimming pool, comic art, crafts and other activities. Families can also choose individual days, full weeks or longer stays depending on their plans.

Flexibility is one of the main advantages of our summer camp in Madrid. Children do not need to arrive at exactly 9:00 AM. They can arrive gradually during the morning, depending on the schedule chosen by each family.

You can also change some conditions from one day to another. For example, families may adjust arrival or departure times, add or remove lunch, or choose different activities on different days of the same week.

This makes the camp especially convenient for families who need a flexible day camp in Madrid, whether they are staying for individual days, a full week or a longer period.

Tailored Learning Experiences

We recognise that each participant is different. Some children are complete beginners, while others already have experience with Scratch, LEGO robotics, Micro:bit or video game programming.

Therefore, our Tech Camp adapts to various ages and levels. Younger children focus on discovery, simple programming and building challenges. Older students can work on more advanced projects involving game design, robotics, coding logic and creative problem-solving.

Extracurricular Opportunities

Beyond the summer, we extend our passion for technology through extracurricular robotics and programming activities. These programs are designed for students aged 5 to 16 and progress through different levels of difficulty.

Students work on design, programming and assembly projects using tools such as Scratch, LEGO, micro:bit and Arduino. In this way, they combine mechanical, electronic and programming components in a practical and motivating learning experience.
